Lt. Governor David Zuckerman will host a Facebook Live roundtable on Saturday, May 9, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. to discuss the future of Castleton University and the Vermont State Colleges System.
He will be joined by Vermont Sen. Cheryl Hooker, D/P-Rutland, Castleton Planning Commission Chair Janet Currie and VSC Faculty Federation president Linda Olson.
VSC board of trustees student representative Izzy Gogarty and student Kris Thomas will also participate.
The roundtable is intended to address several questions including how to establish a new way forward for the future of higher education and workforce development in Vermont. Participants will also discuss what the community values about Castleton University and their vision for a collaborative effort to strengthen the state college system.
