VTDigger has been selected to receive Covid-19 Relief Funding from the Facebook Journalism Project. This grant adds to the support VTDigger’s members have shown for our newsroom during a tough time for news organizations around the country.

We are so grateful for the outpouring of support that we have received from readers across the state recently. As a nonprofit newsroom, we are dependent on reader membership, individual philanthropy, underwriting and foundation grants to produce our product: trusted, independent news.
At a time when most news publishers statewide and nationally (including VTDigger) have already been forced to slash budgets, our business staff are working tirelessly to support our reporters and ensure the sustainability of VTDigger through this public health and economic crisis.
This latest funding from the Facebook Journalism Project is welcome news and will help support overhead, tech, and payroll. Our thanks to the team at FJP, along with all our members.
