The Vermont Department of Labor announced Monday, April 6, it will continue its virtual town hall events for the week of April 6. The department first announced these events in response to the impact of coronavirus.
This week’s sessions include a town hall Tuesday afternoon discussing resources for the self employed during the pandemic and a Thursday meeting for employers who feel they may need to lay off employees. The town halls include speakers from the department who will speak to topics including unemployment insurance and economic development.
Previous town hall events can be found at the department’s YouTube Channel. The department said they plan to continue hosting virtual town halls as needed.
