Our readers are passionate about their news — and they step up to make sure that VTDiggerโs high-quality, investigative journalism keeps all Vermonters informed and educated about important issues facing our state.
Please join Mary Evslin and others in supporting our annual fund campaign. We need you to make sure that we can keep digging!

ย
VTDigger is essential to me and to Vermont. Nowhere else can I get the objective in-depth information about the issues facing Vermont that I get by reading my daily VTDigger. We consider this special place we live in somehow exempt from corruption, fraud, and purposeful obfuscation. It is not. I depend on VTDigger to unearth the details and explain the pros and cons of complex situations using a down to earth vocabulary.
Being an informed and involved citizen is extremely important to me and I could not do that without VTDigger.
— Mary Evslin
Mary Evslin is a retired entrepreneur and serious volunteer who has been a supporter of VTDigger since 2013. Mary’s commentaries and open letters have been published on VTDigger.
