The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is seeking information about an armed robbery last month at a convenience store in Waterbury.

The ATF is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest of those involved in the holdup at the Champlain Farms on North Main Street at around 10 p.m. April 14.

Surveillance photographs released by the ATF depict a hooded figure entering the convenience store and aiming a weapon behind the checkout counter. According to ATF Special Agent Christopher Arone, the suspect stole money.

In a news release, Special Agent in Charge Daniel Kumor said the ATFโ€™s โ€œimmediate concern is public safety.โ€

The ATF has urged anybody with information about the robbery to contact the bureauโ€™s office in Burlington or the Waterbury Police Department. Contact information is posted here.
