[L]t. Gov. Phil Scott reported a household income of about $220,000 last year and said his assets totaled more than $3 million.

The Republican candidate for governor and his wife, Diana, reported income of $172,000, plus Scott made $47,000 as a partner in the company he co-owns, Dubois Construction.

He and his wife, a registered nurse, paid $38,000 in federal taxes and almost $12,000 in Vermont taxes. They released their 2015 tax return and other financial information Friday afternoon.

The household income amount is an increase over 2013, the last year for which he had released tax information. In that year Scott and his wife reported making about $165,000.

The bulk of Scottโ€™s personal assets is tied up in his construction company. His 50 percent share is valued at $2.5 million. He and his wife also own a home in Berlin valued at $350,000.

Scott, the winningest driver at Thunder Road race track in Barre Town, valued his No. 14 race car and parts at $50,000 and reported owning three motorcycles with a total value of $30,000. He also co-owns a catamaran boat, with his half share valued at $10,000.

His retirement accounts are worth almost $200,000, he said.

Scottโ€™s assets included three motorcycles: a 1941 Indian valued at $15,000; a 1998 Harley-Davidson valued at $10,000; and a 2004 Triumph valued at $5,000.

Scott was the last of the five candidates currently running for governor to disclose financial information. Republican Bruce Lisman and Democrat Peter Galbraith released income tax information for 2014 because they are seeking an extension on their 2015 tax returns.

Lisman listed assets of $51 million and income in 2014 of $1.7 million, primarily from investments.

Democrat Sue Minter reported a household income of $152,000 and assets worth a total of $720,000 to $2.375 million. Galbraith listed his household income as $600,000 for 2014 and reported $18.3 million in assets. Matt Dunne, another Democrat, listed income of more than $600,000 for 2015 and assets including his home in Hartland, worth almost $750,000, and other rental properties.
