Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders’ fundraising apparatus continues to outdo itself, collecting more than $44 million in March, a month of mixed electoral results for the democratic socialist.

The campaign raised more money in March than in February, when it broke its own record by raising $43.5 million.

The campaign has now received 6.5 million contributions from 2 million donors. Sanders’ total haul for the first quarter of this year is $109 million, with 97 percent of the money raised online.

Sanders’ Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, had not disclosed her March totals by midday Friday.

Sanders is spending a lot of time in Wisconsin ahead of the April 5 primary, and the campaign says it feels relatively good about its prospects there.

While Sanders is pouring some money into Wisconsin, much of it will be focused on the New York primary, set for April 19. Sanders needs a big win there to reclaim momentum and eat into Clinton’s delegate lead.

Sanders, a Brooklyn native, kicked off his New York tour Thursday evening, speaking to more than 18,000 people in the Bronx. Filmmaker Spike Lee and actress Rosario Dawson introduced Sanders at the huge rally.
