YouTube video

A coalition of nearly 20 Democratic state representatives have created a video in support of the presidential campaign of Sen. Bernie Sanders, praising the work Sanders has done in the state and on a national level.

“Bernie, Bernie, he’s my boy. Never, never a billionaire’s toy,” Rep. Jim McCullough, D-Williston, says in the video.

The video was filmed and edited by Rep. Teo Zagar, D-Barnard, who also speaks in the video. He said the film wasn’t produced under the supervision of the campaign, but that it would hopefully show out-of-staters that Sanders is appreciated by some Democrats at home.

“For me, it was just making a statement as Democrats in Vermont that we are supporting a candidate that represents our values if he may not nominally be a Democrat,” Zagar said.

Zagar said there is no specific audience the video is meant to target, but that it could perhaps prove most useful for voters in New Hampshire.
