MIDDLEBURY โ The North Carolina hospital executive who was tapped this week to succeed James L. Daily as president and CEO of Porter Medical Center has more than two decades of experience in health care administration plus almost 10 years as a registered nurse. Daily will retire this spring after 31 years in his role at the Middlebury organization.
Lynn Boggs has worked as senior vice president, System Operations, for Mission Health in Asheville, N.C., for the past 19 months and was also president and CEO of McDowell Hospital in nearby Marion.
June 1 is her projected start date at Porter, which she said she was drawn to after working in both smaller, independent and larger, system-based health care organizations.
