House Democrats will hold a fundraiser to kick off the 2015 legislative session from 6-8 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Montpelier.
The event is hosted by the Vermont Democratic House Campaign and will feature House Speaker Shap Smith, majority leader Sarah Copeland-Hanzas and assistant majority leader Kate Webb.
Former Speaker of the House Tim O’Connor will also attend, marking the 40th anniversary of his election to the speaker’s chair in 1975.
Individual admission is $100 per person and sponsorship is available for $1,000.
