Gubernatorial candidate Dan Feliciano this week released two years of tax returns, reporting $239,796 in income in 2013 and $173,956 in 2012.

The Essex Junction resident and his wife filed jointly. They paid $43,582 in taxes in 2013 and $24,669 the year before, the returns show.

Feliciano, a Libertarian, is a business consultant who in the past has worked for General Electric and as a consultant for companies including Cigna Healthcare and the Pentagon, according to his website.

He earned almost all his 2013 income from wages, collecting $353 from dividends and $152 from interest.

Gov. Peter Shumlin released his tax returns last week. He earned $721,000 in 2013, his 1040 IRS showed. He also released a summary of his assets, which are worth $10.3 million.

Republican candidate Scott Milne has not released his tax return but has said he plans to do so next month.
