The protest comes after it was reported Israel bombed a United Nations school where Palestinians went to escape the fighting in the Gaza Strip.

The actors dressed in black and white, holding up signs reading “Why,” “How Much Longer,” and “How Much More,” as other chimed a bell of mourning. The group also wore large black gowns and masks to represent Palestinian women mourning the loss of their children.

Bread and Puppet Theater will perform Fire: Emergency Performance for Gaza on Friday at 7:30 at their Paper Mache Cathedral in Glover.
