March 15 is the last day to sign up for April 1 health coverage through Vermont Health Connect.
Individuals who extended coverage through the end of March, must purchase new insurance through the exchange under state law.
The Department of Vermont Health Access has announced that hours for the customer support center have been extended on Saturday.
The center will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Go to VermontHealthConnect.gov or call 855-899-9600 to apply for coverage.
Call volume has been high this week, state officials say, and will likely be high on Saturday.
