WDEV host Mark Johnson talks with Kristin Carlson, senior political reporter for WCAX, and Anne Galloway, editor of Vtdigger.org, about the political impacts of the Challenges for Change legislation now moving through the Vermont Statehouse. Carlson and Galloway talk about how quickly the government restructuring plan is being pushed through by the Douglas administration and the Democratic leadership, and how little the public — and lawmakers — will know about the long-term effects of the legislation. They said many of the decisions regarding the reorganization of key government functions, such as human services programs, will likely be made after the Legislature has adjourned.
