Gov. Peter Shumlin visited towns hard-hit by Tropical Storm Irene on Wednesday, two years to the day after flooding from the torrential rains inundated many parts of Vermont. At each stop — Wilmington, Taftsville, Killington, and Rochester — the governor made the rounds, shaking hands, hugging and posing for photo after photo. VTDigger reporter Alicia Freese went along for the ride and brought back these photos.
