Vermont DLC opens liquor agency in Bristol beverage store

Montpelier, VT – The Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery, Division of Liquor Control (DLC) is pleased to announce the opening of a new Liquor Store inside Bristol Beverage, located at 21 Prince Lane in downtown Bristol.  The store officially opened on Friday, January 31st with the grand opening ceremonies scheduled to take place February 19th at 10:00 am with DLC Commissioner Patrick Delaney and Director of Retail Operations, Kim Walker on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony with Store Owner Adam LaPerle.

The liquor area at Bristol Beverage is separate from the general merchandise area.  With its bright and open floor plan, black shelving, soft yellow walls and lots of natural lighting, the wide selection of Vermont products and national brands are beautifully presented.  In addition to the liquor store, they carry a large selection of beer and wine, and are a full-service redemption center.  The DLC is proud to add this to our list of 76 locations around Vermont.

In 2019, the DLC contributed over $27 million to the State’s general fund.  Through a network of well aligned Agency stores, which carry a wide selection of products from Vermont and around the world, local economies are benefactors as well. The liquor stores provide an opportunity to offer products to visitors and residents and to present tastings for new products. The DLC will continue to offer an enhanced retail experience for consumers and be a significant contributor to the Vermont General Fund.

Please direct retail questions to the Director of Retail Operations, Kim Walker, at (802) 249-0261 or [email protected]
