I am a resident of southern Vermont who last week had a book published with the above title that I think would be of interest to readers of VTDigger as well as the national audience to which it is directed.

The book is a uniquely formatted chronology of the most memorable events of the Trump years as depicted in 40 letters of mine that were published from 2017 to 2020 in The New York Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe and Los Angeles Times.

The impact of the book is the role and ability of an ordinary citizen outside of mainstream politics and in a rural setting to observe and give voice to opinions of national significance.
