Authorities have identified the person found dead last week in Bethel.
Vermont State Police had said they discovered a body Thursday evening in a tent on Findley Bridge Road.
After an autopsy, state police said in a news release Monday that the person found dead was identified as James P. Lumbra, 35, of Bethel, who lived on the property where the tent was located.
The cause and manner of Lumbra’s death remains under investigation until toxicology results are received, according to police. However, the death does not appear suspicious at this time.
