A reported stabbing in downtown Burlington is being investigated, police said in a press release.
On Monday morning around 1 a.m., Burlington Police were called to the intersection of Pearl and Church streets after someone found a man bleeding from the neck who said he was stabbed.
The man’s injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
After questioning the victim and witnesses, police noted possible inconsistent statements from the victim. Police are still investigating the incident and are asking anyone with information to call the department at 802-658-2704.
