Burlington Police arrested a man on charges of reckless endangerment and drug possession after gunshots on North Avenue late Saturday., according to a police report.

At about 10:12 p.m., police received calls about a man discharging a firearm near a bus stop on North Avenue near Cambrian Rise. The caller gave a detailed description of the man and police found and detained him and another man on Crowley Street, the report stated. 

Police identified the suspect as Leon Delima, 34, known to them from prior interactions, and took him into custody. He was charged with reckless endangerment and cocaine possession after they found a large amount of cocaine on him. The second man was released, according to the report.

Officers recovered ballistics and other evidence at the scene. No one was harmed.
