State reports 6 new cases, adds pop-up testing sites

The Vermont Department of Health reported six new cases of Covid-19 on Thursday, for a total of 950 positive cases. 

No new deaths were reported; 54 people have died of Covid-19 in the state. Three people are hospitalized with Covid-19 and 11 are hospitalized with suspected cases.

The state reports a total of 25,701 tests administered, which is 643 more than yesterday.

The health department has added pop-up sites for testing next week. Testing will be held Tuesday in Springfield, Wednesday in Brattleboro, Morrisville and Rutland; Thursday in Barre, St. Albans and Hartford, and Friday in Middlebury and St. Johnsbury. Vermonters without Covid-19 symptoms can be tested as can second-home owners, college students and others returning to the state. Register for an appointment at humanresources.vermont.gov/popups.
