Vermont courts are continuing to expand their operations with some non-emergency matters being taken up starting Monday, June 1, but not all divisions and units will reopen at the same pace.
State court administrator Patricia Gambel said in a press release that courthouses and courtrooms are being outfitted to allow for social distancing and to follow public health measures.
Many hearings will be held by phone or videoconferencing, she said, but those coming for in-person hearings are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior for entrance screening. All visitors are required to wear face masks.
