The Department of Health three new cases of the coronavirus and no new deaths on Friday. Total cases in Vermont since the beginning of the pandemic now number 24,360, and total deaths remain 256.
New cases were reported Friday in three of Vermont’s 14 counties:
- Chittenden: 1
- Rutland: 1
- Windham: 1
As of Friday, three people were hospitalized with a confirmed case of Covid-19, with one person in intensive care.Â
The state reported that 1,719,277 tests have been administered for the illness in Vermont since the start of the pandemic. As of Friday, 399,002 individual people had been tested. The seven-day average test positivity rate was 0.6%.
