The Department of Health reported 123 new cases of the coronavirus and no new deaths on Monday. Total cases in Vermont since the beginning of the pandemic now number 10,220 and total deaths number 163. 

New cases were reported Monday in 12 of Vermont’s 14 counties:

  • Chittenden: 41
  • Rutland: 15
  • Bennington: 13
  • Washington: 13
  • Windsor: 11
  • Addison: 6
  • Orange: 6
  • Caledonia: 5
  • Windham: 5
  • Franklin: 3
  • Lamoille: 4
  • Orleans: 1

As of Monday, 43 people were hospitalized with confirmed cases of Covid-19. Seven of those people were in intensive care, and one more was hospitalized with a suspected case.

The state reported that 809,158 tests have been administered for the illness in Vermont since mid-March, an increase of 20,399 since Friday. As of Monday, 289,315 people have been tested. The seven-day average positivity rate is 2.7%, same as it was Friday.
