Vermont Afterschool, a statewide nonprofit that supports organizations that provide extracurricular programming, is hosting an online forum to discuss how such organizations are supporting youth and families during the Covid-19 pandemic. The forum will take place on Wednesday, April 29, at 4 p.m. on Zoom, and requires participants to register in advance.
The forum will connect policy makers, funders, and state agency partners directly with the after-school directors and programs that are doing important work around essential care for school-age children, food delivery, virtual youth programming, enrichment activities and planning for summer programming. Participants will also share stories about local Covid-19 responses.
