Confronting the Tide of Racist Terror

June 21 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Racist violence has spread across the country in the wake of Trump’s election and the emboldened racist rhetoric of the Alt-Right. From the killing of Richard Collins in Maryland, to the murders of Ricky John Best and Taliesin Myrddin Namkai-Meche in Portland Trump and the Alt-Right have given cover to dangerous people across the country looking to blame immigrants and Muslims for problems caused by the ruling class.
Come participate in a discussion on how we can turn this violent tide around towards a society based on solidarity and equality, and help strategize on how we can stuff the racists back into the dark hole they emerged from.

Speakers are:
Isaiah Hines, South Burlington student who lead the organizing to change the school’s mascot
Wafic Faour, Palestinian Rights Activist
more speakers to be confirmed
