Remaining outages on Tuesday have centered on Washington, Orange and Caledonia counties, where Washington Electric Cooperative is working to repair lines.
Washington and Lamoille counties were among the hardest-hit by the storm, with each receiving an average of 8.3 inches of snowfall, according to data provided by the National Weather Service.
Voters already green-lit the measure through two ballot items — one in 2021 that allowed the city government to charge a carbon fee, and another earlier this year that defined more of the rule’s details.
