Most recently, she covered race and justice at Rewire.News, and higher education at the New Bedford Standard-Times. She previously worked at several Massachusetts newsrooms. She is a mentor for young reporters through the Report For America program, founded the Boston chapter of the South Asian Journalists Association, and is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists.
 

Sentence questioned in 2021 South Burlington drug saga that claimed two lives

Bruce Erdmann is serving a three-month prison sentence on a federal charge related to a non-fatal drug overdose at his home. Several months later, the overdose deaths of his wife and a neighbor on consecutive days were ruled accidental and did not lead to any further charges.
