Police are looking for Danny Daniels, 30, of Philadelphia in connection with a drug robbery and fatal shooting last month of 49-year-old Israel Jimenez Lugo, according to Vermont State Police.

Paul Pennoyer, 29, of Barre Town, is scheduled to be arraigned next month on a charge of unauthorized access, according to Vermont State Police.

Fertility doctor agrees to $100,000 judgment in 2nd case of lying about sperm donor

In an earlier case, Judge William K. Sessions III ruled last summer that now-retired Dr. John Boyd Coates III must pay $2.2 million to a woman who accused him of using his own sperm to impregnate her under false pretenses. Lawyers in that case say they are still working to collect.

In his letter from behind bars, Jay Peak’s former owner wrote that he was “begging” the judge for mercy, citing, in part, health problems facing him and his wife. He said his cooperation with prosecutors did not receive proper consideration.

South Burlington man faces attempted murder charge in St. Albans prison attack

Mbyayenge Mafuta, 21, was issued a citation Thursday for the felony charge and is set to be arraigned next month. He is accused of beating Jeffrey Hall, 55, who shared the same cell with him, last month. Hall has been hospitalized in critical condition since Dec. 22.
