Talking about affordable — apartments are sky high. Why is a two-bedroom apartment $1,200 and up? Nothing included.
I work full time and never would be able to afford this. Not to mention $3,000 to move in! Most of us don’t even have savings. We live paycheck to paycheck. We do not receive help from the state for any of our bills.
We have medical, yes. But everything else comes out of our paychecks. Cost of apartments went up when Covid came, and the state was helping a lot of people. When will the cost go back down?
More people will become homeless if this isn’t addressed.
