The candidates vying to lead Vermont for the next two years are set to face off on Sept. 28 in Burlington at the latest VTDigger debate.

Incumbent Republican Gov. Phil Scott and Democratic nominee Brenda Siegel will face questions from VTDigger political reporters Sarah Mearhoff and Lola Duffort. They will also respond to questions submitted by readers (share yours below).

The gubernatorial debate will take place at Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center in Burlington on Sept. 28, at 6 p.m., and will be livestreamed on VTDigger.org.

The event is sponsored by the Necrason Group.

The event is the latest in the 2022 Digger Debate Series, which began in April with a primary election debate for the U.S. House. It continued earlier this month with debates for the U.S. Senate and U.S. House.
