JAZZ BRUNCH BENEFIT AT LIBRARY

Burlington, VT—Celebrate Women’s History Month at the Fletcher Free Library! Join the Friends of the Fletcher Free Library for its Second Annual Jazz Brunch Benefit on Sunday, March 31, from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm, in the Main Reading Room. The fundraiser will celebrate Women in Music, with music from the fabulous Jenni Johnson & the Jazz Junketeers.

In addition to this incredible concert, the Jazz Brunch Benefit includes a catered brunch by Firefly Catering, a raffle coupon, and a gift bag, as well as a cash bar and silent auction. Silent auction items include exciting options like dinner for two at Leunig’s Bistro, a monthly loaf of bread from Great Harvest Bread Company, a Vermont Teddy Bear, and a stay at the Hilton Burlington. Tickets are limited, and cost $40 in advance and $45 at the door. All proceeds support free and inclusive programming at the library. Sponsored by Seventh Generation and Stark Law.

The Fletcher Free Library FFL strives to serve its community in new and innovative ways. This past year the library began opening on holidays; new programs included a cookbook club, In Translation: Literature of the Arab World series, Spanish and Arabic language classes, expanded computer classes, an early literacy outreach program, and so much more. All library programs are free and open to the public. The library also provides free meeting space.

The Fletcher Free Library is located at 235 College Street, Burlington. For more information, and to order tickets, visit www.fletcherfree.org/jazz-brunch.
