News Release — Zuckerman for VT
January 28, 2016
BURLINGTON: Senator David Zuckerman has been asked by the Sander’s campaign to be a surrogate at the Northeast Organic Farming Association conference in Concord, New Hampshire on Saturday.
“Vermonters from around the state have been volunteering in New Hampshire by making phone calls, helping with rallies, and going door-to-door to tell people about Bernie’s vision for America,” said Zuckerman. “I’m excited to be doing my part this weekend.”
In advance of Saturday’s support Zuckerman has released a video endorsement of Sander’s for President.
“I first engaged in Vermont politics by volunteering for Bernie’s 1992 campaign for Congress. His conviction and honesty inspired me. Bernie’s support for income equality, civil rights, universal healthcare, and climate change are a model of true representation of what is best for our society,” said Zuckerman.
Zuckerman has been volunteering for Bernie for over 20 years including going to New Hampshire in December to make calls to voters from his West Lebanon headquarters.
“I am excited to be part of Bernie’s Revolution,” Zuckerman noted. “I fully support him and his candidacy and hope he makes it all the way.”
