Vermont Women in Law Enforcement newest advisory council member of Vermont Commission on Women

(Montpelier) – The organization Vermont Women in Law Enforcement was voted in to the roster of Advisory Council members of the Vermont Commission on Women (VCW). The VCW is a non-partisan state government commission established in 1964 and working to advance rights and opportunities for women and girls. VCW's Advisors provide counsel to this non-partisan state government commission on setting goals, strategies and objectives, and also share the opinions and perspectives of the organizations they represent.

Vermont Women in Law Enforcement‘s goal is to strengthen the Vermont law enforcement community by providing professionals in the field opportunities to enhance their personal and professional lives. Membership is open to any active or retired Vermont law enforcement officer. The organization is committed to establishing, providing and sustaining a network of professionals to facilitate and enhance professional development, provide training and information valuable to the law enforcement field, and contribute to the growth of Vermont’s agencies and communities.
