Ann Bielawski, James Pizzagalli and Theresa Tomasi will be celebrated at March 28th ceremony.

Lund is delighted to announce the second annual Heart of the Community Awards to be held at Burlington Country club on the evening of Thursday March 28th. This event marks a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the professional and volunteer work of three local people who have helped to advance the mission of Lund to help children and families thrive. The organization is extremely grateful to PC Construction for their generous sponsorship of this event. PC Construction has also been instrumental in the completion of Lund’s new facility on Joy Drive in South Burlington.

All three honorees have made an important impact on the local community and Lund is proud to recognize their work. Ann Bielawski has been a tireless volunteer at Lund for over 15 years – from helping with fundraising to organizing Mother’s Day baskets for clients at Lund’s residential treatment center. James Pizzagalli is a dedicated supporter of Lund’s many programs and has served on the Board of Trustees at the organization. Theresa Tomasi is an adoptive parent of 27 children and so has affinity to Lund as the oldest adoption agency in the state, responsible for over 9000 adoptions since the organization’s inception. She also previously held the role of Executive Director at Lund as well as subsequently sitting on the Board of Trustees.

Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are still available for this event on Thursday March 28th at Burlington Country Club which includes a cocktail hour and dinner with presentations. Please contact Amy Cronin at [email protected] or 448-3617 for more information or to purchase tickets.

The mission of Lund is to help children thrive by serving families with children; pregnant or parenting teens and young adults; and adoptive families.
