Cesar Millan, noted “dog-whisperer,” comes to Vermont Oct. 20

Fundraiser Presented by the Cesar Millan Foundation in Conjunction with Fair Haven Animal Hospital and VVSA Humane Society

South Burlington, VT (July 19, 2012) – Cesar Millan, animal activist, world-renowned dog behavior specialist and TV personality will bring his dog training tips and advice to the animal lovers of Vermont for a special one-night benefit event. Together the Cesar Millan Foundation, Fair Haven Animal Hospital and VVSA Humane Society have teamed up for a night with Millan dedicated to support animal welfare.

The benefit will be held at the Lake Champlain Exhibition Hall at The Sheraton Burlington Hotel in South Burlington, Vermont on October 20, 2012 at 6:00 pm ET. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Cesar Millan Foundation, in support of their efforts to rescue, rehabilitate, rehome and educate abandoned animals. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Vermont Humane Society from the Cesar Millan Foundation.

“This fundraiser is a special evening with Cesar that will help support our rescue and humane education programs, as well as the humane society in Vermont,” says Jillian Dunn, Executive Director of the Cesar Millan Foundation. “We have been promised brilliant foliage, brisk weather, and lots and lots of dog lovers, making Vermont the perfect place to hold this event.”

The special night will feature video presentations, personal tales and – of course – live training sessions from Millan himself. Attendees will be able to interact with Millan for an unforgettable evening, as well as learn how to apply his popular techniques to their own pets. In addition to learning how to apply his techniques to your dog, attendees will have the chance to participate in an intimate Q&A with Millan to end the night. VIPs can purchase LEADER OF THE PACK tickets, which provide premium seating plus access to a VIP reception with Cesar. Millan’s fans and followers know it’s often not the dogs, but their owners who need his help the most!
