Welch to highlight Vermont businesses and job creation in Northeast Kingdom tomorrow

BURLINGTON, VT – Rep. Peter Welch tomorrow will travel to Derby and Newport to hear from Vermont businesses about how he can be helpful in spurring growth and job creation.

In Derby, Welch will visit Tivoly Inc., a manufacturer of cutting tools that employs over 150 Vermonters. Welch will then hold a roundtable discussion with local business owners at the Community National Bank.

Welch will then travel to Newport where he will visit the North Country Career Center, attend the North Country Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and tour downtown businesses, including Baan Thai Cuisine, Wider Than The Sky, Habanero’s, Jon Somes, Tim & Doug’s Ice Cream and Memphremagog Arts Collaborative.
