Dubie raises nearly $100,000 in last 30 days, more than $1 million to date

Essex Junction, VT – Lt. Gov. Brian Dubie’s campaign for governor announced Monday it has raised $92,596.50 in last 30 days, pushing its total past the $1 million mark.

“This is yet another sign of the tremendous momentum behind this campaign,” Dubie said. “We are running a true grassroots campaign. So far we have knocked on 44,000 doors and have 9,000 fans on Facebook. Vermonters are excited about this campaign, and I am thrilled to have their support.”

Lt. Gov. Dubie’s campaign announced Monday it has raised $92,596.50 in the past 30 days, since the last reporting period on July 15. To date, the campaign has raised $1,036,557.22. Details will be released Tuesday when the campaign files its official finance report with the Vermont Secretary of State’s Office.

“The fact that we have more than 4,000 individual donors is a sign my message is resonating,” Dubie said. “Vermonters see a clear difference in this election and they are responding. I have a vision to cut taxes, cut red tape, and grow jobs. My opponents have no solution but to raise taxes and create dozens of new government programs. Vermonters are taxed out. They deserve a governor who understands this and will work to help them keep more of their hard-earned money.”
