Vermont Public Television and Vermont Public Radio will collaborate on live web coverage of Gov. Peter Shumlin’s state of the state address from the Statehouse in Montpelier on Thursday, Jan. 5, at 2 p.m. Viewers will find it at VPT’s website, www.vpt.org, and VPR’s website, www.vpr.net.
Vermont Public Television launches two new Bennington County channels
A grant from the USDA Rural Digital program covered direct expenses for the new channels. The USDA funding ensures that rural America is not left behind by the digital transition by providing targeted assistance to rural public television stations.
People’s United Bank and Vermont Public Television raise $15,000 for the Vermont Disaster Relief Fund
Any contribution to VPT supported Vermont’s statewide public television network and sparked a donation from People’s United Bank to the Vermont Disaster Relief Fund.
