Champlain Housing Trust and Howard Center to secure housing for former diocese property residents
he Champlain Housing Trust and Howard Center announced today an agreement to rehabilitate a property on St. Paul Street to provide housing for 16 residents currently living at Lakeview on North Avenue, a home on the property recently sold by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Vermont to Burlington College.

Offenders with mental illnesses are referred to the court by lawyers, judges, police officers, treatment providers and family members when their criminal behavior is driven by mental illness.
