Josh Larkin

Josh Larkin is the director of design and technology for VTDigger.org. As well as maintaining the look and functionality of the site, he serves as our staff photographer and as an occassional reporter. He has worked closely with Anne Galloway on the VTDigger.org project since its inception in 2009. He worked as a reporter for the Barre-Montpelier Times Argus in 2004 where Galloway served as his editor. It was during this time that Galloway first mentioned to him her concern that investigative journalism was declining in the newpaper industry, a topic of conversation they revisited regularly until VTDigger.org was born. He has always been fascinated by web technologies and since 2006 worked on web communications teams first for Norwich University and then for Vermont Law School. He attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts where he studied painting and drawing and later graduated from Johnson State College with a degree in history. He lives in East Calais with his wife Daphne, daughter Luna, two dogs and two kittens.
