Though we have launched a new format, we are still in the beta testing stage of Vtdigger.org. You will continue to see us experiment with different approaches to storytelling through multi-media platforms—audio, video, print—and through editorial presentation. Instead of one long-form story, we’re more likely to present a series of smaller stories (sometimes via different media) that explore the facets of a topic.
For the time being, our goal is to post stories, video and audio five to seven times a week—in other words, as often as we can.
We are also trying to raise money to pay for more material from the many talented professional writers, videographers, photographers and producers in Vermont who would like to contribute to our site. So if you value what we’re doing and you want to see more stories and reports about Vermonters and the state of the state, make a tax deductible donation of $25 or more to Vtdigger.org. How will you know if we’ve posted a story?
