This holiday season we want to thank our readers, business sponsors and grantors for making 2011 a successful year for VTDigger.org.
Over the course of the last 12 months, we’ve expanded from an all-volunteer effort to a news office with paid professional staff of four full-time and two part-time employees. This wouldn’t have been possible without your support.
If you’ve already made a donation this year, we thank you.
If you appreciate what we do and haven’t yet made a contribution to support our work, please make a tax deductible donation to Vermont Journalism Trust, our 501(c)(3) parent organization, by check to Vermont Journalism Trust, 64 Main St., Suite 27, Montpelier VT 05602, or via PayPal.
We look forward to bringing you news about the topics you care about — health care, energy, the state budget, taxes and politics — in the New Year.
Though VTDigger.org will continue to publish stories during the holiday week, we will not be approving comments from Dec. 24 through Jan. 1. We’re taking a short break to spend time with friends and family.
Best wishes for a happy holiday season.

Because I was away for a while, I am sitting here on Jan 15, catching up on old emails, and came across this brief article from Anne and company thanking everyone for their support. I can’t believe there isn’t at least one response reciprocating the thanks. So, let me be the first (apparently) to thank Anne and Josh for all their work. The fact that you can pay yourselves now, and have taken on more staff whom you can also pay is great news, and testament to how what you do is both needed and appreciated. Happy new year, and keep it up.
P.S. I’ve been enjoying the history bits from Greg Guma, too.
