“OPERATION: VERMONT LIBERATION” STATEWIDE TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT.
The Dennis Steele for Governor Campaign to Hit the Road and Bring the Free Vermont Message to Towns Across the State From September 18th to September 26th.
Since Dennis Steele has been excluded from the first round of gubernatorial debates, the Dennis Steele for Governor Campaign has decided to take the case for independence directly to the People through a week-long tour of Vermont dubbed “Operation: Vermont Liberation.” It will kick off on September 18th in Burlington’s Battery Park, where a concert and rally will occur from 3pm-6pm, featuring the
musical talents of Phineas Gage, Tommy Alexander, Birchwood Coupe, and Electric Sorcery. Upon the concert’s conclusion, Dennis plans to head south in his R.V. The subsequent tour schedule is as
follows:
Monday, 9/20
6-7pm: Meet and Greet at the South Street Cafe, located at 105 South Street, Bennington.
Tuesday, 9/21
3:30-5:30pm: Canvassing at the Bennington Farmers Market.
Wednesday, 9/22
10am-2pm: Canvassing at the Brattleboro Farmers Market.
5-6pm: Meet and Greet at a location to be confirmed.
Thursday, 9/23
Arrive at Bennington debate to request inclusion. If denied, there will be a sign wave with supporters
outside and attendees will be canvassed with campaign literature.
Friday, 9/24
Meet and Greet in White River Junction, time and location to be determined.
Saturday, 9/25
2-4pm: Meet and Greet (and music by Electric Sorcery) at The Gathering Inn, located at 1295 Rte. 100,
Hancock, Vermont.
Sunday, 9/26
Arrive in Burlington to request inclusion in the AARP/Vermont Public Television debate. If denied,
hold a press conference and sign wave on Williston Road in South Burlington (outside the Double-Tree
Hotel).
