The Bureau of Census is posting the daily rate of the mailed in returns. This “Percent of 2010 Census Forms Returned Map” is based on the data that was available on April 10, 2010; 10 days after every household was to have returned their form.
The top three responding communities are Ira, Wallingford, and Shelburne. The communities with the lowest return rate are Westmore, Maidstone and Plymouth. One factor that may affect the rate of returned forms in Vermont is the number of second homes that may not have had any one at home as their primary residence is elsewhere.

It appears from the Stone Environmental map that South Burlington has taken over the Burlington lake frontage.
